The Struggles of Life
Someone once said, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” And, today there are entirely too many lemons still laying around with lots of thirsty people standing by waiting for a drink.
There is not one of us, in this entire world, that has not faced some sort of struggle in our life. What you struggle with is probably happening right now. Life is a never ending cycle of hardship and fortune.
Many times we set ourselves up in our struggles by undertaking impossible difficult tasks in an effort to eliminate our hardships. We think we can handle it. We assume someone will help us out when the bearings of our intentions become jammed. Constantly, we attempt to solve each conflict and hardship as it lands on our shoulders. But sometimes, we can’t.
Not without help. Not without understanding the core of our situation and the depth of our struggles. We can neither turn tail and run from our struggles or hand them off to someone else. However, we can learn to change our thinking, encourage positive outcomes, and develop life coping strategies.
So the next time someone hands you a lemon, you can have the strength, understanding, and support to squeeze.
